- If you don't prepare, Sunday meals can really suck because no stores are open Sunday. Yeah, I'd been told this, but it's really sunk in today.
- If you don't have a working Microwave, oven or dishwasher, you learn to improvise with an electric kettle!
- Kartoffel snacks are cup-a-noodle mashed potatoes and are crazy good.
- They sell far more honey than Peanut Butter (judging by the size of the product on the shelves) and far more jelly than either of those.
- Things in grocery stores are not nearly where I expect them.
- German potato salad is da bomb.
- Again, many of these are just adjusting to a new place. All of them are good. We're enjoying Germany so far. Had a great meal at VogelHaus. Love me that pork belly.
